Polypropylene Absorbent Pads

Universal polypropylene absorbent pads are available in single-ply and multi-layer compositions. Each surface texture has a specific spill control application. Fine fiber meltblown polypropylene is soft like tissue paper for quick absorption, and it tends to grip most surfaces when saturated. Spunbond polypropylene is abrasion-resistant and durable, which makes it great for heavy wiping applications. Bonded universal absorbent pads have an open fiber construction for absorbing viscous fluids. All of these polypropylene absorbent pads work great with oil, water, coolants, and solvents. Spunbond polypropylene composites are smooth, durable, and abrasion-resistant. Both sides have a spunbond pp membrane, which helps the pad withstand wear and tear, and it is great for wiping down greasy tools and equipment. The lofty meltblown polypropylene center layer is highly absorbent and wicks up fluids quickly.

Fine fiber meltblown polypropylene composites have a soft microfiber membrane on both sides of the pad. They grip many surfaces when saturated, and they also remove the sheen from your floors. The microfiber membranes quickly wick up fluids and draw them into the fluffy center layer.

Point bonded meltblown polypropylene sorbents have an open fiber construction that draws in high viscosity fluids. Bond points tie down loose fibers. Bonded pads are great for all maintenance applications to absorb oil, water, coolants, solvents, and many more non-aggressive fluids.

Slip hazard mats replace slip hazard signs, mops, and mop buckets. They warn of hazards while absorbing the spilled fluids. These versatile sorbents are great for well-trafficked walkways or for use as a general maintenance pad. The high-visibility yellow color is very noticeable.

Spunbond/Meltblown polypropylene composite is a dual-textured product. The spunbond polypropylene side is durable, abrasion-resistant, and great for wiping. The meltblown polypropylene side has an open fiber construction for absorbing viscous fluids. Use SM for both oil spill applications and for MRO applications.

Spunbond/Meltblown/Fine Fiber pads are our highest quality nonwoven composites. The spunbond side is smooth and abrasion-resistant, which is great for wiping applications. The fine fiber (microfiber) side has a gripping characteristic when saturated and removes the sheen from most surfaces.
