Floor Guard by Fiberweb (India) Limited is a three-layer, highly absorbent nonwoven composite that is thermally point-bonded to an impermeable poly-film backing. The top layer is durable, abrasion-resistant spunbond polypropylene. The middle layer is lofty, highly absorbent meltblown polypropylene. The film backing is dense, impermeable polyethylene. Floor Guard is made in one manufacturing process (extrusion, bonding, sheeting, and stacking), so it is an economical, yet premium quality sorbent that replaces stitched or sonically bonded absorbent pillows, which require exorbitant labor cost to produce.
Primarily designed to prevent fluids from leaking on to your floors, staining them, and creating slip hazards, Floor Guard can be used under cars, forklifts, machines, horizontal drums, or even leaky roofs and ceilings. Beyond effectively protecting your floors, Floor Guard is also highly absorbent and available in two sizes. A 30 x 30” mat absorbs 95.8 ounces, and the 15 x 18” mat absorbs 29 ounces. Floor Guard absorbs oils, water, coolants, and solvents. These absorbent mats are also available in an “oil-only” version that absorbs petroleum fluids and repels water.
